When you have a window and door installation done by a builder or other general tradesman, the chances are very high that they will not be Fensa registered. They may do a good job, but if you decide to sell your house, and have no Fensa certificate for the windows and doors fitted, you won’t be able to! By choosing a registered installer like Prior Products Limited, upon completion of your installation, a Fensa certificate and our own insurance backed ten year warranty will be sent to you as an end result of the window and door fitting.
As a Fensa registered company, you will have the assurance that all windows and doors have been fitted correctly and are approved. The warranty also applies from the final fitting date. Ask your builder / tradesman to do this for you and the chances are that they will ask you to approach your local council to have your installation inspected. This is going to cost you over and above the original bill, and if the local council think that your windows and doors do not meet with their requirements, no certificate will be issued, and it is then between you and your tradesman to sort it out. Without Fensa approval, you will not sell the house!
Always use a registered installer such as ourselves to save major heartache.
